Robots of CES 2026: The Ones to Watch

Five years after we picked the nine robots to watch at CES 2021, the show floor in Las Vegas (January 6–9, 2026) was overrun with them — factory-ready humanoids, two-armed home helpers, vacuums that climb stairs, wire-free mowers and fuzzy companion pets. Here are 20 that were actually on show at CES 2026, unranked and filterable by type and by the country their maker calls home. Prices and dates are as announced; many of these are still prototypes.

Highlights

Humanoid

Boston Dynamics Atlas

The headline act: Boston Dynamics used Hyundai's CES 2026 keynote to introduce the production-ready version of its all-electric Atlas, its first public stage appearance. It rose from the floor by flipping its joints in ways no human body could, then got down to specs — 56 degrees of freedom, a 7.5-foot reach, a 110-pound lift and a four-hour, hot-swappable battery. A partnership with Google DeepMind brings Gemini Robotics AI to its brain, and the first units are bound for Hyundai's Metaplant in Georgia this year.[1]

Home helper

LG CLOiD

The centerpiece of LG's “Zero Labor Home” pitch, CLOiD rolls on a stable wheeled base with a height-adjustable torso, two seven-degree-of-freedom arms and five-fingered hands. On stage it folded and sorted laundry, loaded a dishwasher, pulled milk from the fridge and slid food into the oven, all tied into LG's ThinQ appliances. It's a demonstration for now — LG has given no price or release date.[2]

Home helper

SwitchBot Onero H1

Engadget's pick for best robot of the show was the one you might actually be able to buy. SwitchBot's 1.3-meter wheeled humanoid has 22 degrees of freedom and runs its own on-device vision-language-action model to pick up laundry, open appliances and clear tables, and it plugs into SwitchBot's existing smart-home gadgets. The company says it will cost under $10,000 and arrive toward the end of 2026.[3]

Humanoid

AgiBot A2 & X2

Shanghai's AgiBot — ranked the world's top humanoid producer by 2025 shipments, with an estimated 5,168 robots — made its U.S. debut at CES 2026 and walked away with several Best of CES awards. The small X2 stole hearts with its dance moves, while the full-size A2 proved a surprisingly good conversationalist with passing attendees.[4]

Robot vacuum

Roborock Saros Rover

Robot vacuums have always been stopped by stairs. Roborock's answer is a pair of wheel-legs: on the show floor the Saros Rover climbed a full flight of steps, balanced itself over obstacles and vacuumed each stair on the way up. Roborock calls it a real product in development, but hasn't set a price or on-sale date.[5]

Robot vacuum

Dreame Cyber X

Dreame tackled the same problem with brute force. The Cyber X concept is a quad-track “exoskeleton” that carries a regular robot vacuum up and down straight or curved staircases — steps up to 25 cm high, slopes up to 42 degrees, a full flight in about 27 seconds. Engadget found its chainsaw-like treads a little terrifying; Dreame calls it a prototype.[6]

Lawn mower

Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD

The most decorated yard robot of the show collected a reported 13 “Best of CES” honors. Its “Tri-Fusion” navigation fuses 360-degree LiDAR, AI vision and RTK satellite positioning, so it mows without boundary wires and holds its position even in tricky spots, and a 10-TOPS AI chip lets it cover up to 7,000 square feet an hour. Prices start at $2,399.[7]

Companion

Tombot Jennie

Developed with Jim Henson's Creature Shop, Jennie is modeled on a puppy of eight to ten weeks and built for older adults, especially people living with dementia, who can no longer care for a real dog. It responds to voice, touch and movement with tail wags, real recorded puppy sounds and even a detectable heartbeat. Tombot says it has more than 19,000 people on its pre-order list and waitlist, with first shipments targeted for late 2026.[8]

Service & industrial

Hyundai MobED

Short for Mobile Eccentric Droid, MobED is a compact four-wheeled platform whose eccentric wheel mechanism keeps its body level over curbs, slopes and rough ground. Hyundai first showed it as a concept at CES 2022, and this year it won Hyundai's first-ever CES Best of Innovation award, in Robotics, just as mass production of the Basic (remote-controlled) and Pro (autonomous, LiDAR-camera navigation) models got under way.[9]
