Heights as listed on October 12, 2026; refreshed monthly. Hardly any of these heights has been measured in public. They come from DabPop’s monthly rankings of the tallest female K-pop idols and the tallest female Korean celebrities, which take idols’ heights from the fan-run kpopping database and other entertainers’ from Korean Wikipedia. Both repeat what agencies, the stars themselves or the press have put out.[1][2] Who’s included: RList merges the two lists, one row per star: every woman who is a current or former member of a K-pop group, of any nationality, and South Korean actresses. Models, TV personalities and solo musicians are left out, which excludes model and TV personality Hong Jin-kyung and runway model Song Kyung-a (both listed at 180 cm), along with stars who have died, such as actress Jung Chae-yul, listed at 177 cm, who died in 2023, or whose fate is unknown, such as 1970s and ’80s film actress Yoon Yeong-sil, missing since 1986.[2][13] How we ranked: as in our ranking of the tallest male K-pop and K-drama stars, a height a star has given herself on the record would come first, but none of the women here has done so in any reporting we could find. Next comes a figure reported in the Korean press, marked “Profile / press”; where sources disagree, the lower well-supported figure is used, which puts Hanyoung at 178 cm rather than her listed 179 cm.[3] Everyone else is ranked on her listed profile alone and marked “Listed profile only,” so allow a centimeter or two either way.[12] Within a tie, press-checked heights come first. Feet-and-inch values are rounded to the nearest inch. The table runs to 30th place, keeping everyone tied at the cut-off: 37 stars, down to 175 cm. The table is rebuilt each month from DabPop’s refreshed lists; for idols alone, see our ranking of the tallest female K-pop idols.

The Top 10

#1 (tie)

Hanyoung — 178 cm

Before she sang, Hanyoung placed in the 1998 Super Elite Model contest and studied sports modeling at Dongduk Women’s University. She then led LPG, a trot-dance girl group whose name stood for “Long Pretty Girls,” through its 2005 debut with “Can Can” until she left in 2008, and later moved into acting, TV hosting and home shopping.[4] Her kpopping profile and a “star pictorial” feature give 179 cm, but when she and her husband, trot singer Park Goon, appeared on SBS’s Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 in 2023, they called themselves the “88 couple” for their 8-year age gap and 8 cm height gap, and the press put them at 178 cm and 170 cm.[1][3] Two of her LPG bandmates are also listed at 175 cm or more.[1]

#1 (tie)

Hanbit — 178 cm

Choi Han-bit, who performed as Hanbit, led Mercury, a girl group that kpopping now lists as disbanded, and also sang and danced in it. Her profile there gives Gangneung as her birthplace and 1987 as her birth year.[1] She is ranked on that listed height alone: we found no interview or Korean press report that gives a figure for her.

#1 (tie)

Jung Yoon-hye — 178 cm

Jung Yoon-hye danced, sang and rapped in FANATICS, a FENT girl group that debuted in August 2019 with the EP The Six and its lead single “Sunday,” and was active until 2024.[1][5] Like Hanbit, she is ranked on her kpopping height, which we could not find repeated in the press.

#1 (tie)

Myung Sa-rang — 178 cm

The main rapper of Baby V.O.X Re.V, a DR Music spin-off of the girl group Baby V.O.X, Myung was one of its five original members, unveiled in December 2006. She left in 2007 to concentrate on her studies.[1][6] Her 178 cm is the figure on her kpopping profile; no press report we found confirms it.

#5 (tie)

Go Mal-sook — 177 cm

Better known as a YouTuber, Go Mal-sook joined OSDS, a four-member EDM girl group that came together through the YouTube channel Kkondaehee. It released its first single, “Bluetooth,” in April 2025 and played its first stage at EDC Korea in Incheon.[7] Her height also appears in the press: a 2024 Unicorn Factory profile of her gave 177 cm.[7] Her bandmate DJ Suvin, formerly Subin of Dalshabet, is listed at 174 cm.[1]

#5 (tie)

ChaeLin — 177 cm

ChaeLin is the main rapper and youngest member of New-L, a girl group that debuted under I-Star Entertainment in September 2024. Her 177 cm comes from her kpopping profile.[1]

#5 (tie)

iTO — 177 cm

iTO was a member of NEO-ASFiK, a group from the IDOL Atelier project that debuted in May 2023 and broke up two years later.[8] Her kpopping profile gives her height but not her nationality.[1]

#5 (tie)

Sebeen — 177 cm

The bassist of ALICE SYNDROME, a four-piece rock girl band from D-Nation Entertainment, Sebeen made her debut on July 25, 2026 with the single “Deep Dive.”[1][9]

#9 (tie)

Lee Sung-kyoung — 176 cm

Lee Sung-kyoung worked as a fashion model before her drama debut in SBS’s It’s Okay, That’s Love in 2014, and a Seoul Shinmun interview that year gave her height as 176 cm.[10] Two years later she played the title role in MBC’s Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo, a 21-year-old weightlifter at a sports university.[10]

#9 (tie)

Lee Sem — 176 cm

Lee Sem was the main rapper of 9MUSES, the Star Empire group that debuted in 2010 and was sold as “model idols”: the Korean press noted that its core members were all over 170 cm and had come from modeling.[1][11] She left the group in January 2014, after “Dolls” and the rest of its 2013 releases.[11] In DabPop’s full idol ranking, four more former 9MUSES members are listed at 173 to 175 cm, the most of any group.[1]
