Heights as listed on October 12, 2026; refreshed monthly. Almost none of these heights has been measured in public. The rows come from DabPop’s monthly ranking of the tallest female K-pop idols, which reads each idol’s height from her profile on kpopping, a fan-run database that repeats what agencies, the idols themselves or the press have put out.[1] Who’s included: living women who are current or former members of a K-pop group, of any nationality and aged 18 or over; solo singers, models and actresses are left out. Height basis: where the Korean press reports a figure, RList uses it and marks it “Profile / press”; where sources disagree, the lower well-supported figure wins, which puts Hanyoung at 178 cm rather than her listed 179 cm.[2] Every other idol is ranked on her listed profile alone, marked “Listed profile only,” so allow a centimeter or two either way.[11] Within a tie, press-checked heights come first, then names in alphabetical order. Feet-and-inch values are rounded to the nearest inch. The Nationality column is kpopping’s. The table runs to 30th place, keeping everyone tied at the cut-off: 30 idols, down to 175 cm. The table is rebuilt each month from DabPop’s refreshed list. To see the tallest actresses alongside the idols, see our ranking of the tallest female K-pop and K-drama stars.

The Top 10

#1 (tie)

Hanyoung — 178 cm

Hanyoung was the leader of LPG, short for “Long Pretty Girls,” a group that set trot melodies to dance-pop and debuted in 2005 with “Can Can.” She had come to it from modeling, after placing in the 1998 Super Elite Model contest, and after leaving the group in 2008 she worked as an actress, TV host and home-shopping presenter.[3] Her kpopping listing says 179 cm. RList uses 178 cm, the figure the press gave in 2023 when she and her husband, trot singer Park Goon, appeared on SBS’s Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 as the “88 couple,” eight years and eight centimeters apart.[1][2]

#1 (tie)

Hanbit — 178 cm

Hanbit, born Choi Han-bit in Gangneung in 1987, was the leader of Mercury, a girl group that kpopping lists as disbanded; she sang and danced as well as leading it.[1] Her height rests on that listing alone. We found no interview or Korean press report giving a figure for her.

#1 (tie)

Jung Yoon-hye — 178 cm

FANATICS, the FENT girl group Jung Yoon-hye joined, debuted on August 6, 2019 with the EP The Six, led by the single “Sunday,” and stayed active until 2024. She was a dancer, vocalist and rapper in it.[1][4] As with Hanbit, the press has never repeated her kpopping height, as far as we could find.

#1 (tie)

Myung Sa-rang — 178 cm

DR Music unveiled Baby V.O.X Re.V, its follow-up to the 1990s girl group Baby V.O.X, in December 2006, and Myung Sa-rang was one of its five original members and its main rapper. She left in 2007 to go back to her studies.[1][5] Her height is the one on her kpopping profile; we found no press report confirming it.

#5 (tie)

Go Mal-sook — 177 cm

Go Mal-sook made her name on YouTube before becoming an idol. OSDS, the four-member EDM girl group she belongs to, was put together on the YouTube channel Kkondaehee, released its first single, “Bluetooth,” in April 2025, and gave its first live performance at EDC Korea in Incheon.[6] Her 177 cm is one of the few heights here that the press has printed: Unicorn Factory gave the same figure in a 2024 profile.[6]

#5 (tie)

ChaeLin — 177 cm

New-L, an I-Star Entertainment girl group, debuted in September 2024, and ChaeLin is both its main rapper and its youngest member. Her height comes from her kpopping profile.[1]

#5 (tie)

iTO — 177 cm

NEO-ASFiK came out of the IDOL Atelier project, debuting in May 2023 and splitting up in May 2025, and iTO was one of its members.[7] Her kpopping profile lists her height but leaves her nationality blank.[1]

#5 (tie)

Sebeen — 177 cm

Sebeen plays bass in ALICE SYNDROME, a four-piece girl rock band that D-Nation Entertainment launched on July 25, 2026 with the single “Deep Dive.”[1][8] Kpopping counts the band as a K-pop group, which is why she is ranked here.

#9 (tie)

Sooah — 176 cm

Sooah was one of LPG’s four founding members, alongside Hanyoung, Yeonoh and Yoona, and played guitar in the group’s live-band concept when it debuted in August 2005 with “Can Can.” She had won prizes at international beauty and modeling contests before joining.[10] Her 176 cm is backed by the press: the Seoul Shinmun’s report on the group’s launch gave the same figure. She and Hanyoung left in March 2008, and a new lineup took over the name the following year.[10] With Yoona, listed at 175 cm, LPG has three members in this table.[1]

#9 (tie)

Lee Sem — 176 cm

When DabPop first compiled its ranking in October 2026, no group had more members on it than 9MUSES, with five former members listed at 173 cm or more. Star Empire marketed it as a group of “model idols” when it debuted in 2010, and the press noted that its core members had all modeled and were all over 170 cm.[9] Lee Sem, its main rapper, was with the group from its debut through singles such as 2011’s “Figaro” until she left in January 2014.[9] Two former bandmates, Euaerin and Rana, are listed at 175 cm.[1]
