The Most-Watched Netflix Series of All Time

Squid Game and Wednesday are in a league of their own: 14 series seasons ranked by how many views Netflix counted in their first 91 days, using the company’s own all-time lists.

Method: Netflix’s “Most Popular” all-time lists count views, meaning hours viewed divided by the title’s total runtime, during its first 91 days on the service. Netflix publishes two separate top-10 lists, one for English and one for non-English shows. This ranking merges them: every season on either list with 106.0 million views or more is included. Nothing below 106.0 million is shown, because Netflix’s English list stops at 106.0 million, so English shows just under that line cannot be compared with Lupin part 1 (99.5 million) or other non-English entries. Figures are as shown on Netflix’s Tudum pages when retrieved on 15 October 2026, and each season or limited series counts as a separate entry. Bridgerton season 3 and Money Heist part 4 tie at exactly 106,000,000 views and share rank 13. Because the 91-day window must close, very recent titles such as I Will Find You can still change. Genres are RList’s own short labels; language follows Netflix’s list, not the show’s setting.[1]

The Top 10

#1

Squid Game, Season 1 — 265.2 million views

The Korean survival drama premiered on September 17, 2021 and still holds the record: 265.2 million views and 2,205.2 million hours watched in its first 91 days, across a runtime of 8 hours 19 minutes. It is the only season to beat Wednesday, and it tops Netflix’s separate non-English chart as well.[2]

#2

Wednesday, Season 1 — 252.1 million views

The best-performing English-language series ever, with 252.1 million views and 1,718.8 million hours across 6 hours 49 minutes. The Addams Family spin-off, with Tim Burton directing, premiered on November 23, 2022 and has led Netflix’s English-language list ever since.[2]

#3

Squid Game, Season 2 — 192.6 million views

Released on December 26, 2024, the second season drew 192.6 million views (1,380.1 million hours; 7 hours 10 minutes) in 91 days. Together with the third season, it puts one franchise at three of the top four spots.[2]

#4

Squid Game, Season 3 — 145.8 million views

The final season arrived on June 27, 2025 and logged 145.8 million views (894.3 million hours over 6 hours 8 minutes). It is the shortest of the three Squid Game seasons, yet still ranks fourth overall.[2]

#5

Adolescence, Limited Series — 142.6 million views

The British crime drama starring Stephen Graham premiered on March 13, 2025. Its runtime is only 3 hours 50 minutes, so 142.6 million views add up to 546.5 million hours: the fewest hours of any series in the top ten, and the highest views-to-hours ratio on the list. Netflix’s page now shows 142.6 million; an early report had 137.8 million, which shows how these totals grow.[2]

#6

Stranger Things, Season 4 — 140.7 million views

Released in two volumes (May 27 and July 1, 2022), season 4 totals 140.7 million views. Its 13 hours 4 minutes is the longest runtime in the top ten, which is why its 1,838.0 million hours watched is second only to Squid Game season 1’s 2,205.2 million, despite far fewer views.[2]

#7

Stranger Things, Season 5 — 133.8 million views

The final season began on November 26, 2025 and has reached 133.8 million views (1,391.3 million hours over 10 hours 24 minutes). Netflix counts the first 91 days of a multi-part release, so the total can change until that window closes.[2]

#8

I Will Find You, Limited Series — 120.8 million views

The newest entry. The Harlan Coben thriller starring Sam Worthington premiered on June 18, 2026 and had 24 million views in its first four days; Netflix now lists 120.8 million (662.5 million hours, 5 hours 29 minutes). It is missing from Wikipedia’s shorter table, which is why this post uses Netflix’s own page.[2]

#9

Wednesday, Season 2 — 119.3 million views

The second season (released August 6, 2025) reached 119.3 million views and 928.5 million hours over 7 hours 47 minutes, less than half the first season’s views.[2]

#10

Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story — 115.6 million views

Evan Peters stars in the true-crime drama released on September 21, 2022. It earned 115.6 million views and 1,031.1 million hours over 8 hours 55 minutes, and launched Netflix’s Monster anthology.[2]
