Heights as listed on October 12, 2026; refreshed monthly. Celebrity heights in Korea are rarely measured in public, and listed figures can be off in either direction: some stars round up, while tall actors of the late 2000s often listed themselves about 2 cm shorter so they would not tower over co-stars.[3] The rows come from DabPop’s monthly rankings of the tallest male K-pop idols and the tallest male Korean celebrities, which take idols’ heights from the fan-run kpopping database and other entertainers’ from Korean Wikipedia.[1][2] Who’s included: RList merges the two lists, one row per star: every man who is a current or former member of a K-pop group, of any nationality, and the South Korean entertainers Korean Wikipedia files as actors. TV personalities (among them former basketball players Ha Seung-jin and Seo Jang-hoon, listed at 221 and 207 cm), models and solo musicians are left out, and so is anyone who has died. Actors whose Korean Wikipedia articles give no height, such as Yoon Kyun-sang, who has said on air that he is 191 cm, can’t appear.[2][14] How we ranked: a height a star has given himself on the record comes first, marked “Self-stated”; that puts Park Seo-ham at 193 cm and CORTIS’s Martin at 190 cm rather than their listed 192 and 193 cm.[6][11] Next comes a figure reported in the Korean press, marked “Profile / press”; where sources disagree, the lower well-supported figure is used. That leaves two idols listed at 190 cm, B.A.P’s Zelo and CRAVITY’s Minhee, below the cut-off.[15] Everyone else is ranked on his listed profile alone, marked “Listed profile only,” so allow a centimeter or two either way. Within a tie, checked heights come first. Feet-and-inch values are rounded to the nearest inch. The table runs to 30th place, keeping everyone tied at the cut-off: 41 stars, down to 188 cm. The table is rebuilt each month from DabPop’s refreshed lists; for idols alone, see our ranking of the tallest male K-pop idols, and for the women, the tallest female K-pop and K-drama stars.

The Top 10

#1 (tie)

Lee Charm — 195 cm

Born Bernhard Quandt in Bad Kreuznach, West Germany, in 1954, Lee Charm came to Korea in 1978, taught at the German Cultural Institute in Seoul until 1993 and became a Korean citizen in 1986.[4] Familiar to TV audiences as an actor and entertainer, he became in 2009 the first naturalized citizen to hold a senior Korean public post, as president of the Korea Tourism Organization, and served until 2013.[4] A profile written on his appointment gave his height as 195 cm, the same figure Korean Wikipedia lists.[2][4]

#1 (tie)

Junghyun — 195 cm

Junghyun plays bass in 2Z, a five-piece rock band that debuted on January 14, 2020 with the EP WE Tuzi: and has since toured Europe and Latin America. He only took up the bass after his audition.[5] The band marked its sixth anniversary in January 2026 with the single “6(SIX).”[5] His 195 cm is a listed figure: kpopping gives it, but other fan profiles say 190 or 192 cm, and we found no press report or on-the-record statement to settle it.[1][5]

#3 (tie)

Park Seo-ham — 193 cm

The former KNK member, now an actor best known for the BL drama Semantic Error, had an official profile height of 189 cm, but he revealed in 2020 that he actually stands 193 cm. He said he was not that tall at debut and gained height after correcting his posture, and that people react very differently to 189 cm than to anything at 190 cm or above.[6] Kpopping lists him at 192 cm; RList uses his own figure.[1][6]

#3 (tie)

Choi Hyun-ho — 193 cm

Choi Hyun-ho was a handball player first. He was part of the national team that won gold at the 1998 Bangkok Asian Games, played club handball in Germany and Denmark, and in 2000, while with Hana Bank, was the only Korea-based starter on the national team.[7] After retiring in 2005 he worked as a TV commentator and took film roles, which is why Korean Wikipedia files him with actors; he now coaches handball at Woosuk University.[2][7] Korean Wikipedia lists him at 195 cm, but the Kyunghyang Shinmun gave 193 cm and then 194 cm in 2000, so RList uses the lower press figure.[7]

#3 (tie)

James Lee — 193 cm

Born in Los Angeles, James Lee was the bassist of Royal Pirates, a Korean-American rock band that made its Korean debut in 2013 and released the mini-album Drawing the Line in 2014.[8] In June 2015 a steel door frame and glass wall fell on him in a Seoul restaurant; after an eight-hour wrist operation he moved from bass to keyboards for the band’s comeback single, “Run Away.” He left the band in January 2017 for health reasons.[8] His 193 cm is his kpopping listing; we found no press figure.[1]

#3 (tie)

Lee Deungdae — 193 cm

Lee Deungdae leads, sings and plays guitar in Redoor, a four-piece band that debuted in January 2021 with “Forever Has Always Been” and joined the label AT AREA in 2024, with him writing its songs.[9] In 2026 the band was the only Korean act picked for Fender’s Fender Next program, released its fourth mini-album, Memory, and sold out two nights at Seoul’s Olympic Hall.[9] His height rests on fan profiles alone.[1]

#7

Minki — 192 cm

Minki debuted as Uiyeon in GreatGuys, a nine-member DNA Entertainment group that came out on August 25, 2017 with “Last Men” and was billed as a group of tall idols, with an average height of 185 cm.[10] He left the group and agency when his contract ran out in February 2024, then returned under his own name in December 2025, when former members relaunched as the independent seven-member RE:GUYS.[10] His 192 cm is a listed figure that the press has not repeated.[1]

#8 (tie)

Martin — 190 cm

Martin leads CORTIS, BigHit Music’s first boy group since TXT, which debuted on August 18, 2025 with “What You Want.” Before debut he had writing and production credits on songs for ILLIT, TXT, ENHYPEN and LE SSERAFIM, and he co-directed the group’s “GO!” video.[11] CORTIS was named Best New Artist at MAMA 2025.[11] Fan profiles list him at 193 cm, but when a fan asked on Weverse in 2025 he answered 1.90 m, and RList uses his own figure.[1][11]

#8 (tie)

Rowoon — 190 cm

SF9’s Rowoon, who also led the drama Extraordinary You, said on JTBC’s Idol Room that he was 190.5 cm,[12] and in a later Soompi interview he said a recent checkup measured him at about 190 cm. In the same interview he laughed off rumors that he was 193 or 196 cm.[12] His Extraordinary You co-star Kim Hye-yoon has put their height difference at 30 cm: 160 cm to his 190 cm.[12]

#8 (tie)

Lee Kwang-soo — 190 cm

The actor best known as “the giraffe” of SBS’s Running Man, which he left in 2021 after about 11 years, is listed at 190 cm on his profile and in Korean Wikipedia.[2][13] Sports Kyunghyang reported that he is widely believed to be about 2 cm taller, and English Wikipedia lists him at 192 cm; RList keeps the 190 cm the Korean press reports.[3][13]
