Dataset of the Tallest Statues in the World

Among the tallest statues in the world, the  Statue of Unity stands the tallest at 182 meters, excluding its base which itself is 58 meters tall. Now, imagine four Statues of Liberty stacked atop each other - that's how tall the Statue of Unity is.

Completed recently in 2018, the statue depicts the highly respected Indian statesman and independence activist Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (1875–1950), who was recognized and respected for his leadership in uniting the 562 princely states of India to form the single large Union of India.

The tallest of all, the Statue of Unity, stands at 182m. Apart from the Rodina-Mat' Zovyot! of Russia, the rest of the top 15 tallest statues are all located in Asia, with 6 from China and 4 from Japan. 9 out of the top 15 tallest statues are recently built (after year 2000).
