Tallest Statues in Japan - the tallest of which are Sendai Daikannon from Sendai of Miyagi Prefecture and Ushiku Daibutsu from Ushiku of Ibaraki Prefecture. Both statues.stand at a height of 100 meters. Sendai Daikannon depicts Kannon (Guanyin) while Ushiku Daibutsu depicts the Buddha (Amitābha).

Ushiku Daibutsu is located in Ushiku, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. The total monument height of Ushiku Daibutsu is 120 meters, as it stands on a 10-meter lotus throne atop a 10-meter pedestal.
