Tallest Statues in Japan - the tallest of which are Sendai Daikannon from Sendai of Miyagi Prefecture and Ushiku Daibutsu from Ushiku of Ibaraki Prefecture. Both statues.stand at a height of 100 meters. Sendai Daikannon depicts Kannon (Guanyin) while Ushiku Daibutsu depicts the Buddha (Amitābha).
