This list tracks the tallest men born between 1950 and 1979. In this list, Leonid Stadnyk (1970-2014) claimed the tallest height at 257cm (8 ft 5 in) , although tecnically this height was not officially recognized by Guinness World Records because he refused to be measured according to their standards.
Second on the list, is Zhang Juncai of China at 242cm (7 ft 11 in). Born 1966 in Shanxi, Zhang Juncai is the tallest living Chinese person. Third on the list, is Alexander Sizonenko of former Soviet Union. He was a Soviet Union basketball player and possibly the tallest person to have ever played professional basketball.
