At a towering height of 133 meters (436 feet), Jeddah Light is the world's tallest light tower. Located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the Jeddah Light is constructed in 1990, primarily using concrete and steel. It is located in close proximity to the Jeddah Islamic Port, overlooking the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia.
Located at Put-in-Bay, South Bass Island in Lake Erie, Perry Memorial Monument or Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial served as an un-official lighthouse for boats on Lake Erie. Standing at 352 feet (107 meters), the granite monument was built in 1913 to commemorate the 100th year anniversary of the naval victory of Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry over the British in the Battle of Lake Erie of the War of 1812.
The Perry Memorial Monument is the second tallest lighthouse in the world and the tallest in North America. Its observation deck is open to visitors with a small admission fee.

Yokohama Marine Tower. Located in Naka Ward, Yokohama, Japan, the Yokohama Marine Tower is built in 1961 and has a height of 106 meters (348 feet) - the tallest lighthouse in Japan. The Yokohama Marine Tower is a steel lattice structure with an observation deck at a height of 100 meters. In clear daylight, visitors can see Mount Fuji from the 100-meter high observation deck.

Built in the year of 1923, Palacio Barolo is not a typical lighthouse in that it is an office building with a lighthouse on its top. Located at 1370 Avenida de Mayo, in the neighborhood of Monserrat, Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Palacio Barolo has 22 floors and a height of 100 meters (328 feet), with its lighthouse being visible all the way to Montevideo, Uruguay.
