If Dubai owns the crown of tallest hotels in the Middle East, then China takes the crown in Asia, claiming five out of Asia's ten tallest hotels.
At 343m, the Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur stands as the third tallest hotel in the world, after the Ahmed Abdul Rahim Al Attar Tower or Gevora Hotel and JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. The Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur opened officially on 1 July 2018, just 5 months after the Gevora Hotel which opened on Feb 2018.
The second tallest hotel, Baiyoke Sky Hotel, in Asia is a familiar and prominent sighting in the horizons of Bangkok, Thailand, since 1997. Wuxi Maoye City – Marriott Hotel claims third spot in Asia and currently leads the pack of the tallest hotels in China.
