Citystars Sharm El Sheikh of Egypt claims the world's largest swimming pool with a gigantic crystal lagoon, covering close to 10 hectares.
San Alfonso del Mar. At second place, is the swimming pool of San Alfonso del Mar, a private resort in Algarrobo, Chile. The pool is 1,013m (3,323 ft) long and up to 3.5m deep, covering 8 hectares and containing about 250 million litres of sea water filtered and treated from the adjacent Pacific Ocean.
Mahasamutr Hua-Hin. At third, is the swimming pool of Mahasamutr Hua-Hin of Thailand. It is the first Crystal Lagoons project and spans over an area of 7.2 hectares.
