Antonov An-225 Mriya. The Antonov An-225 Mriya of Ukraine is the world's longest plane at a length of 84m ; it is also the heaviest plane on Earth at 285,000kg. Today, it is primarily deployed for commercial cargo transport.

Boeing 747-8. The Boeing 747-8 takes second place at 76m in length. The Boeing 747-8 is the largest 747 version, the largest commercial aircraft built in the United States, and the longest passenger aircraft in the world.

Airbus A340-600. The Airbus A340-600 is the third longest plane with a length of 75m.

Stratolaunch. And how about the Stratolaunch - a plane purpose-built to carry air-launch-to-orbit rockets. It is among the top 10 longest planes in the world at 73m, and takes crown as the plane with the longest wingspan (117m) in the world. Watch how this amazing "twin" plane takes off!

Airbus A380-800. Airbus A380-800  the world's largest passenger plane, also measures 73m in length and weighs a whopping 277,000kg in unloaded state. It is the plane with the largest passenger capacity, capable of accommodating up to 853 passengers in the maximal seating configuration.
