The most common Zodiac signs for male K-Pop idols are Aquarius, Capricorn and Pisces.
Out of 1,018 male K-Pop idols in our study, 99 idols are born under the Zodiac sign Aquarius and 94 idols born each under the Capricorn and Pisces signs.

The most common Zodiac signs for female K-Pop idols are Capricorn, Leo and Scorpio.
Out of 885 female K-Pop idols in our study, 77 idols are born under the Zodiac sign Capricorn, 76 under the sign of Leo and 74 under the Scorpio Zodiac sign.

The least common Zodiac sign? Same for both male and female K-Pop idols - it's Cancer!
Both male and female K-Pop idols have the least number of idols born under the Zodiac sign of Cancer ( 58 for the gentlemen and 51 for the ladies ).

The most common birth DAY is Jan 10th, a whopping 17 K-Pop idols were born on this day!
Jan 10th is the most common birth day with 17 K-Pop idols, followed by Dec 4th (13 idols born on this day) and Jan 11th, Feb 11th and Jan 20th have the third most number of idols born at 11 idols each.
Another interesting trivia: Jan 10th to 12th represents the most prolific consecutive 3-day stretch where a lot of K-Pop idols were born (38 altogether -17 from 10th Jan, 11 from 11th Jan and 10 from 12th Jan).

The most common birth MONTH is January - 184 K-Pop idols were born in this month!
For the 2020 cohort of K-Pop idols, January is the most prolific month for the birth of potential K-Pop idols with 184 idols born in January, of which 101 babies would be male K-Pop idols and 83 babies would be female K-Pop idols. In second, is February, a short month in which 159 idols were born (100 male idols, 59 female idols).

The least common birth MONTH is June - 114 K-Pop idols were born in this month.
Compared to the early season of January/February where the most K-Pop idols were born, the least K-Pop idols were born in the Summer season of June (114 idols - 49 females, 65 males) and July (117 idols - 60 females, 57 males).
Perhaps this Jan-Feb and Jun-July birth disparity is consistent with the seasonal birth patterns of the South Korean population in general - more research will be needed here to confirm this, but i digress..

Average weight of a male K-Pop idol is 61.58kg.
The weights of male K-Pop idols range from 47kg to 90kg, with the average weight at 61.58kg. V of BTS is quite representative of the average male K-Pop idol weight (62kg) and height (178cm).

Average weight of a female K-Pop idol is 46.4kg.
The weights of female K-Pop idols range from 34kg to 59kg, with the average at 46.4kg. Ryujin of ITZY is quite representative of the average female K-Pop idol weight (47kg) and height (165cm).

Most (93.9%) of the male K-Pop idols weigh less than 70kg.
60.7% of male K-Pop idols weigh between 60kg to 69kg, with 33.2% weighing below 60kg. In other words, 93.9% of male K-Pop idols weigh less than 70kg and only 6.1% weigh 70kg or more!

Most (86%) of the female K-Pop idols weigh less than 50kg.
83.5% of female K-Pop idols weigh between 40kg to 49kg, with 2.5% weighing below 40kg (too light?!). In other words, 86% of female K-Pop idols weigh less than 50kg and the remaining 14% weigh between 50kg to 59kg.
