UPDATED 19 May 2020 - The US Entity List (table below) is a list published by the US Department of Commerce which contains a list of foreign persons and/or organizations that are subject to licensing requirements. As of 19 May 2020, under the US Entity List, there are around 1,308 entities, of which 508 entities are based in Europe, 439 in Asia and 299 in the Middle East region. Top three countries with the most listed entities are Russia (318), China (181) and UAE (135).
U.S. companies wishing to export products and equipment to these foreign persons or organizations must apply for a license from the Bureau of Industry and Security, an agency under the U.S. Department of Commerce.
