Airports with the Shortest Runways
This dataset contains 64 entries.

Modern-day commercial aircraft require a runway of at least 1,800 metres (6,000 feet) in length, with larger wide-body aircraft requiring a minimum of 2,400 metres (8,000 feet). However, for smaller aircraft, such as the Cessna 172, runways as short as 230 metres would be sufficient. These (below) are the airports with the shortest runways in the world, with the shortest being the Skyline Airport of Inkom, Idaho, at 122 metres (400 feet).

Compare the two airports with the shortest runways - Skyline Airport with Ted Luark Airstrip of Huson, Montana
