Overview
The Public Investment Corporate (PIC) is the sovereign wealth fund of South Africa and the largest asset manager for Africa with an asset size of US$160 billion (2016). Established in 1911, it holds large stakes in several South African companies, and is also responsible for investing the South African Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF).
