Zambezi (Zambesi) is a river that is 2,693 kilometers (or 1,673 miles) long and drains from a 1,330,000 km2 drainage basin in Zambia (41.6% of river), Angola (18.4%), Zimbabwe (15.6%), Mozambique (11.8%), Malawi (8.0%), Tanzania (2.0%), Namibia and Botswana.
