  About Empire State Building

Built in 1931 with a height of 381 meters (1,250 feet), the Empire State Building was the world's tallest building for nearly 40 years until the late 1970. Located in New York City, the Empire State Building has 102 floors and a floor area of 208,879m2, making it the 13th largest commercial office building in the United States. It is the 2nd tallest building in New York City, after One World Trade Center which was completed in 2012.
