Built in 1906, the Punta Penna Lighthouse is the second tallest lighthouse in Italy after the famed Lighthouse of Genoa, with a height of 70 meters (230 feet). Located at the port of Vasto, Abruzzo, Italy, this concrete lighthouse remains in active service and projects a visible range of 25 nautical miles (46 kilometers).
