Completed in 1981, Robert-Bourassa generating station is a 41-year-old embankment dam. It is also known as La Grande-2 and is located in Baie-James, Quebec, Canada (North America).

Robert-Bourassa Generating Station is the 2nd largest hydroelectric embankment dam in the world by installed capacity. The installed capacity of Robert-Bourassa generating station is 5,616MW. The embankment dam stands 162 meters tall and can impound up to 61.70 billion m3 of water.
