Completed in 1966, Glen Canyon Dam is a 56-year-old arch-gravity dam. It is located in Coconino County, Arizona, United States (North America).

Glen Canyon Dam is the 2nd largest arch-gravity dam in the world by reservoir volume. The arch-gravity dam stands at a height of 220 meters and impounds up to 33 billion m3 of water. Glen Canyon Dam has an installed capacity of 1,320MW.
