  About Lighthouse Of Genoa

Located in Genoa, Italy, the Lighthouse of Genoa has one of the longest lighthouse history since its first light in the year of 1543. Built of masonry, the stone lighthouse stands at a height of 76 meters (249 feet) and remains the tallest lighthouse in Italy - 19 feet taller than the second tallest Italian lighthouse - Punta Penna Lighthouse. Since 1936, its lighting system became automated and has a range of up to 25 nautical miles (46 kilometers). The Lighthouse of Genoa is duly designated as an Italian national heritage.
