Orinoco is a river that is 2,101 kilometers (or 1,306 miles) long and drains from a 1,380,000 km2 drainage basin in Venezuela, Colombia and Guyana.

The average volume of water flow is 33,000 m3/3 and the river flows out into Atlantic Ocean.

The Orinoco River is also known as Orinoquia.
