Completed in 2009, Longtan Dam is a 13-year-old gravity dam. It is located in Tian'e County, Guangxi, China (Asia).

Longtan Dam impounds the 3^rd largest reservoir volume in Asia. The gravity dam stands at a height of 216.20 meters and impounds up to 27.27 billion m³ of water. Longtan Dam has a structural volume of 7.67 million m³ and an installed capacity of 6,426MW.
