Built in 1986 and spanning a height of 239 feet (73 meters), the Lesnoy Mole Rear Range Light is the tallest lighthouse in Russia and the tallest range light in the world. Located in the commercial harbor of Saint Petersburg, Lesnoy Mole Rear Range Light is an active lighthouse with an effective range of 19 kilometers (10 nautical miles).
